To be honest I'm not a huge fan of trench coats. They have to be extra glamorous and vintage for me to really be into them. I think part of my non enthusiasm towards them comes from seeing them all over on social media. The thing is, I get bored verrryy easily...so I get tired of seeing the same things over and over gain. However, as I mentioned before, I'm that girl that's always freezing so its inevitable that I throw one on once in a while.

When I go shopping I like to pick unique versatile pieces, if I cant wear it like 5 different ways I probably won't buy it. Like these over the knee boots, although they make a statement on their own they're still very easy to work with. I could style them 100 different ways ( here are other ways I've worn the boots )  and they would still have this dynamic look and feel. If you ask me, the only thing missing here is a beautiful white horse, don't you think??!

I absolutely love fall fashion. Everything just revolves around staying warm and comfortable. Not to mention my favorite colors are always in (Burgundy, Green and Grey), so expect to see a lot of these colors in the next few posts.

I wore this look during my recent trip to LA and the weather was quite gloomy. Also my friend and I were just winging it, we dint have any specific plans for the day. I just knew I wanted to be cute and casual. To make the look abit more sophisticated

(meaning to look like I made an effort) I added a belt as seen in the pic below.

Finally!!! My favorite holidays are here and you know what that means, HOLIDAY PARTIES and MINI VACATIONS. Speaking of vacations I just came back from LA and as much as I love the heat, I have to say I really enjoyed the rain and cold weather.

Every time I go to California I spend most of my days indoors, but this past weekend was different. I decided to be a tad bit more adventurous, and by adventurous I mean going to the mall lol. So yeah, I went to the grove, had lunch at some italian restaurant and after, as I was walking around, I happened to stumble upon this pretty little hat. You know I had to get it and style it ASAP, plus I had the perfect jacket to go with it :)

Every time I put on an outfit I become a brand new person and get into formation, like on this day, I wouldn't take my hands off my pockets LOL. Does anybody else do this or is it just me?

Sunday Funday

Age plays a huge role when it comes to my style. With social media, nowadays it's easy to get carried away and to be influenced by what you see online. I try to make sure I don't dress like a 30,40,50... year old because one day I will get there. For me it's important that I live, dress and enjoy the present.... no need to rush.

Once in a while I do trade in my heels for something more casual. I would say comfortable but I'm one of those people who could run a marathon in my heels ( OKAYYYY maybe not a marathon) but I do find them pretty comfortable.

On another note, this little (literally) Patent skirt is just adorable. I decided to pair it with these sneakers because with heels it just seemed abit too much. And that's one thing I've learned growing up, to be happy, there has to be some kind of balance in all aspects of your life, and to me that includes my outfit choices.

Shades of Grey

I'm really loving the low temperatures  and the little bit of rain that we've been experiencing in Arizona. In addition to wearing joggers and cozy jumpers,there is nothing I'm craving more than getting lost in a good read when its raining, aaaand sipping on my pumpkin spice latte. The feeling is just magical.

Not to mention, I've been reading "The wait" for about 5 months now  and Im not very proud of myself since it usually takes me at most 3 days for me to finish a book. But with this book it seems like it will take me forever and a day to finish reading it. It's probably because I love reading books with a story line, I get so carried away that I can't stop and that's not the case with this one.Are there any readers out there that have experienced the same thing?

Vintage Vibes

 

Back at it again with the polka dots and you know I had to get in formation for this one. My love for everything vintage as I've mentioned before is just out of this world. I feel like I should have been born in the 60's, 70's better yet the 20's so I could wear those beautiful Cinderella gowns.... ok back to the post.

I saw these pants on a young lady at the fitting room at Zara and as soon as I lay my eyes on them,I put back everything else and got the pants. Initially I was going to pair them with an oversized cardigan but I decided to take it up a notch and voila..
